Korean Beers (And Tsingtao)

A lot of adjusting going on. Bought a few beers on the way home today. I think I'll have a couple while I practice my Korean language cds.

The beer selection in Korea is pretty limited. Cheap, but limited. There are a few Belgian Beer bars that I plan to investigate and an actual brew pub south of the river. I live North of the river. In fact here's a map if you want to see my neighborhood. I'm sure I'll add more to it as time goes on.

Yum

Ommegang Rouge! They have had it at Dexter's and it is tasty. I will find out tonight if it is still on tap. A little on the expensive side at $9 and change for a goblet, but a must if you like sour red ales. This is a collaboration with Brouwerij Bockor in Belgium and no word if it will ever be bottled.

We are back

Vacationing in Europe is definitely awesome, but it also makes one appreciate the conveniences of home. We successfully brought back 10 bottles of beer (in soft-sided bags no less). I will ask Duane to post a list.

We discovered some great beer places on this trip as well as appreciating some of the places we have been before (I will post more about those places later).

We managed a 4 hour hike down a mountain in Switzerland, although we had trouble walking down stairs for a few days after that. I think that hike was my favorite part the trip.

Missed you all, hope to catch up with you soon!
