Had this in a bomber, found that it is way better on tap (at the Malthouse).

Santa's Private Reserve < HK Duff's
Forcing down a Rogue Santa's Private Reserve. Not good. Picture your least favorite flavors and attributes of several different styles of beer and put them together and you'll have this one. I think it's like a homebrew nut brown that got some assorted spices dumped into it in dubious quantities.
Either that, or it's a porter and an IPA mixed together and filtered through an old sock.

I said make way for Willy
Operation Kitchen Improvement begs for some assistance. Per request, Wet Willy enters the fray.
Wildly hazy and oily pour. Deep caramel with a frothy head that plunges to the depths to be seen no more. Major league sediment.
Smell jumps from the bottle even before the entire cap is peeled away. Soft bourbon and vanilla and a freshly opened sack of brown sugar. Begs to be smelled.
Big brown sugary doughnut wrapped with tempered bourbon. Soft vanilla envelops the sugared pastry. Nice.
Slippery little devil slides around the mouth. Carbonation? Willy don't need no stinkin' carbonation.
Willy wants you to enjoy. Ten percent hidden beautifully. Chris would love this beer.

I'll take the challenge
Lame
What is everyone tired of beer?
Oskar Blues Ten Fidy on tap at the Malthouse. The brewer was there last night but we didn't stay long. WAY too many delta bravos going on about how many cool beers the Malthouse has on tap.
Tyranena and Dexter's anniversaries this weekend. I fear for Duane's liver.

Beijing again
If you notice carefully you will see snow on the ground. Snowed yesterday. This was from Terminal 2 of the Beijing Capitol International Airport. I've been twice to Beijing and my assessment is

I really liked this Chapeau Banana Lambic however.

Brought a little bit of Kentucky back for the coming winter.
