Forcing down a Rogue Santa's Private Reserve. Not good. Picture your least favorite flavors and attributes of several different styles of beer and put them together and you'll have this one. I think it's like a homebrew nut brown that got some assorted spices dumped into it in dubious quantities.
Either that, or it's a porter and an IPA mixed together and filtered through an old sock.

Hmmmm....I've enjoyed this in the past.
Oh Chris, I always have high hopes for Rogue beers (love the bottles), but they always disappoint.
Agreed. The exception is the beer that tastes like smoked cheddar cheese. I miss cheese.
