Wax tops

I'd like to go on record as officially against wax top bottles. Sure they look cool, but then you have to open them. I almost severed an artery getting this one open, only to have a huge chunk of funky green wax plop right into my newly poured beer. Boooo-urns.
This was my second go-around with the Double Crooked Tree, and I think my earlier feelings were a little over-exuberant. It's not great. It did get better as I went though, and I think I was too anxious and drank it while it was still too cold. Maybe the 3rd time will be the decider if I can find another one someday. 3.4/5
