Solid. 9% ABV, Yikes. The best Pennsylvania IPA I've had bar none. 2xSimcoe is very rich. Luxurious? Yes. At first this reminded me of Furious, but the more I have, the more it reminds me of 90 minute. In the parlance of my profession, Double Simcoe > Surly Furious.

Sounds like it's following in the dogfish head/east coast mold of maltier doubles rather than hoppier doubles. Me wanty.

It's not really fair to compare a double/imperial to a regular ipa. They're not the same.
I also like the Double Simcoe.
Comparing is fair game. They're close enough.
Sustained...I'm gonna allow that. Although it's the rare case for me when the regular beats the double (dark horse comes to mind)
