Well friends, tonight brings us Decadent Imperial IPA from Durango, Colorado. Poured into my La Chouffe Belgian glass, I'm seeing a hazy amber with a quickly dissipating head that leaves a steady lacing as I work this thing over. Boozy scents mix with a gently underlying hop presence. Upon first gulp I'm tasting a steady mix of camel and pine, without much of the citrus blast sometime encountered in this country. Alcohol, at 10 %, not overly evident in flavors, but leaves a bit of a gasoline burn down the old gullet. In the meantime, steady viewing of Season Two of Twin Peaks continues unabated. As does my desire to play golf.

I think you would have been better off drinking a La Chouffe.
