Got suckered in by the label and clever name again. Ommegang Ommegeddon which is a hoppy Saison. The first few sips of this I thought were utterly gross, and I didn't like it at all. It did slightly grow on me as I downed the rest of it, and I didn't hate it by the end, but still didn't really like it. Oddly Katie really liked it. It's an odd flavor...very light and fizzy, but with an odd hoppy, sharp malt flavor. Very yeasty. 2 strikes for Ommegang but I still plan to try one or two of the others. I'm nothing if not stubborn. Not a fan, but I won't dub it with the "swill" label either. 2.4/5
