I've never had a Bear Rep. Beer I liked. Used to try them at that one place in Madison where you could get produce and beer (and wine and liquor).In fact many of the mix-match beers were from West of the Mississippi at that place and I never really liked any of them.

Bear Republic Big Bear Black Stout - I wasn't a huge fan on this one. It wasn't terrible, but the malts weren't that presents and the hops had that same soapy taste that I don't like. The other Bear Republic beers are better.
