Grumpy old man

Just had a Founders Old Curmudgeon. This is a weird one. It's an "old ale" whatever that is. It has some similarities to American Strong Ales, maybe also a brown, and maybe something else that I can't place. It is very buttery and sticky...I literally have sticky hands just from pouring it and holding the glass. I honestly don't know if I liked this or not. At first, I didn't like it at all, but it grew on me, both as it warmed up and as I got used to it. I think I'd need to have another one to really give it an honest review, but for now, I'll tentatively give it a B-
