I had a Brooklyn Brewery Hopfenweiss a few weeks ago. Some German brewmeister came over to New York and brewed a German recipe using American ingredients and equipment.
It was good for those times when you are in the mood for a hoppy wheat. On the other hand it isn't the world's greatest beer. I can't remember the grade.

I bottled my all grain IIPA and Oaked IIPA's today and sampled a little bit of the leftovers. Right now it tastes very bitter and the aroma does not overwhelm me. The good news is that it is improving in the bottle. The bad news is that I only brewed a gallon each.
I'm leaving for the weekend to do some brewing in Virginia. Probably in the rain. Then when I get back on Sunday I am going to brew again.
