Ok, so I have come full circle it seems. My love affair with the hops continues unabated. She is a lovely plant of intoxicating beauty. My appreciation for the imperial has risen with the tides and ebbed at the shores of Beerland. I expect alot. Imperials that over stress the alcohol content over taste have begun to frustrate me. I stand on the border with Dark Horse's Double Crooked Tree. I prefer it's smoother, sluggable little brother. Good, not great. High anticipation after getting rather drunk with Duane and Clark after slipping into Woodman's as the store was closing. Hype not equal to results upon secondary drinking.
