Quoting the ipa-master, "When Imperials Drink this Easy, Head for the Hills." Everything Barry said in his review I will echo. In comparison to the Hopslam, I would say this is a little hoppier, with some fruit flavor rather than honey flavor. Both are excellent. I think I'll rate it a hair behind the Hopslam and a hair ahead of the Oaken Bastard, which I guess is about a 4.7/5 for the Goose Island Imperial IPA. Well done Goose Island. All these goose special reserves are fantasic. This is a top contender for my sweet 16.
