The return of flavor

Leaving the tasteless sugar-water category behind me, I've moved on to a Boulder Beer Mojo Risin' Imperial IPA. This was much better. Very hoppy, pretty straightforward hopped-out IPA taste. Another one I'd expect Barry to like a lot. Of the beers I've had lately, it is probably most similar to a Dreadnaught. Pretty good, not my favorite, but mostly because it is a little bit too far on the hoppy taste spectrum for me, not because there's anything wrong with it. Highly potable if you can get by the frightening similarity to the word "raison" in the name. 3.4/5

Edit: Katie's opinion of this is that it "reminds me of an Oriental rug." I have no idea what to think of that, so make of it what you will. I'm not even sure that is still the preferred nomenclature.
