Finally an Indiana beer that doesn't blow.
Barley Island Bourbon Barrel Oatmeal Stout. As soon as this beer warmed up a bit, all the flavor started to come out. It smells like it came out of a bottle of Makers or Beam, with a little hint of root beer float. Tastes great...hint of vanilla is present and serves to sweeten things up in a way that compliments to oaky bourbon flavor. Another Oaken victory. I'm becoming a bigger oak fan than the monster squirrels tormenting Harper in the yard at the moment. One of the best stouts I've had in awhile, despite having one of the lamest labels ever. Can't judge a beer by it's label, as has been proven to me time and time again. 4/5.
