The main event for the evening. My battle with the Czar. Avery Czar Imperial Stout to be exact. In looking it up to post that link, I found that the bottle I had (the 2004 batch) was the strongest batch of the last 8 years or so. It definitely tastes like it. I'm currently going head to head with this and loosing desperately. I feel somewhere between Pete vs. Raspy and Pete vs. Barry in his desperate attempt to argue the existence of Neil Ramsmootch. Like Napoleon marching to Moscow, I have met my match here. This is one serious Imperial. I'll finish it tonight, but only because I have a few hours and Katie helping.
